Interesting point. I guess I'm only using about 5% of Python's standard library on a daily basis.
Will probably use Jinja2 for my next Django project. Had it in mind for too long. Need to check it out.
good advice: if you know your [validation] errors and their consequences, it's can be ok not to validate 100%.
